Gas station 13 was a spinoff project of SS13 that revolved around surviving in the deserts of New Mexico. The game was essentially the same as SS13, but with a different map. There was no initial goal to the game, rather just a test to see how long you could last using the things around you. The main features of the game persisted of the ability to mine and smelt metals using the atmospherics system that SS13 provided. Each mineral had a calculatable melting, burning, tensile, compressive, and fracture point which would greatly determine their use for materials. This lead to the main feature of being able to make anything out of anything. A stone baseball bat, tools made out of uranium, glass knives. Over time, the changes made to the game would heavily conflict to the active development of the source material on which it was based. The constant retrofitting made it hard to progress in development, and was eventually suspended indefinitely. Im genuinely upset that it isnt playable in its current version. Its source code can be downloaded here.
